U-35 crewmember Max Geißler

Bootsmaat Max Geißler served on board U-35 from its commissioning on 03 November 1936 until at least September 1937.

He is probably recognizable in this photo:

He is probably recognizable in this photo:

He is probably the Max Geißler who was promoted to the officer ranks as Leutnant zur See on 01 October 1942, and was assigned to Kriegsmarine Crew 1939 (December). He was later assigned to Crew 1938. He survived the war.
