U-35 crew member Hubert Hirsch

Hubert Hirsch was born on 10 September 1916. He served as a torpedo mechanic on U-27 prior to reporting to U-35.

He reported to U-35 in October 1939 as Torpedomaat, and served alongside Wilhelm Janssen as his replacement (it was to be Janssen's last patrol on U-35).
