U-35 crew member Wilhelm Strauss

Wilhelm Strauss was born on 20 October 1916, and was a member of the U-35 crew at its commissioning on 03 November 1936.

Wilhelm Strauss was not a member of the crew of U-35 on the second (final) war cruise. He had earlier been transferred to U-23 and U-99 under Otto Kretschmer. He became a Prisoner of War in 1941. He passed away on 05 August 1993.
